Overview

Airport pickup, immigration flow, cash, and first-day arrival planning.

01

Section 01

Before You Land

Save your flight details, hotel address, airport transfer instructions, and key contact numbers somewhere you can access offline. If your driver is meeting you, confirm the meeting point and the exact name that will appear on the welcome sign.

Carry these items in your hand luggage

  • Passport and entry documents
  • Arrival transfer contact or WhatsApp number
  • Hotel confirmation and first-night address
  • A small amount of cash or a card that works internationally
  • Any essential medication you may need on day one
02

Section 02

At The Airport

Arrival usually follows the same pattern: immigration, baggage claim, customs, and then your transfer meet-up. Keep your documents easy to reach and do not hand your passport to anyone except official staff.

Useful first-hour priorities

  • Finish immigration before opening exchange or SIM conversations with vendors.
  • Use airport Wi-Fi only long enough to message your transfer contact if needed.
  • Withdraw or exchange a modest amount of cash instead of converting everything immediately.
  • Double-check the car plate or driver name before leaving the airport.

Section 03

Cash, SIM, And Transfers

If your itinerary already includes airport pickup, your arrival is much smoother when you skip the first available taxi offer and go directly to your confirmed transfer point. For SIM cards or eSIM activation, it is often enough to get basic connectivity first and optimize later in the city.

Section 04

Your First 24 Hours

  • Hydrate and take it easy after a long-haul arrival.
  • Reconfirm the next day schedule with your guide or travel consultant.
  • Check that your cash, card, and internet setup are working.
  • Store your passport securely and carry only what you need for the day.

When To Ask For Help

If your flight is delayed, your bag does not arrive, or you cannot find your driver, contact our support team first. A fast message with your location, flight number, and a short photo of where you are standing usually resolves arrival issues much faster than starting over with a new taxi or transfer arrangement.
