The city also has many advantages in introducing Vietnam culture to foreign tourists through folk theaters, and traditional villages… Ha Long bay (Vinh Ha Long in Vietnamese), means the “bay of the descending Dragon”. Many legends surround the formation of Ha Long bay, most involving the afore-mentioned mythical animal. The most widespread story tells how a dragon, sent by the Emperor of Jade to support the Viet people fighting against the foreign invaders, helped push away the attackers and in the process, spat jewels that landed in the sea and formed the karst landscape.

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, welcome by our guide and transfer to your hotel. The driving time is approximately 40 minutes. Afternoon, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Morning, our guide will meet you at hotel and start to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex with your private guide. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where silent sentries guard the marble and granite mausoleum where Ho Chi Minh lies in state. See the simple cottage where Uncle Ho lived and worked and visit the nearby Ho Chi Minh Museum – an extraordinary tribute to the life of the “father of the country.” Carry on to the Governor’s Residence, a fine example of Hanoi’s French architecture, followed by a stop at the One Pillar Pagoda to hear the legend of its construction. Continue to the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, for a quick escape from the busy streets. Afternoon, transfer to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km. The transfer is approximately 2.5 hours. Check in hotel then spend time at leisure. Morning, transfer to the dock for boarding a cruise boat to explore the legendary Ha Long Bay. The boat will stop at Dau Go Island for you to visit Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace) and Dau Go Cave (Wooden Stakes). Continue cruising while fresh seafood lunch is served on board. Return to the dock, disembark and travel back to Hanoi. Afternoon, drive back Hanoi and shopping in Hanoi Old Quarter. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: A hotel used in Hanoi
